Malaga - 21st to 22nd of July 2010

Malaga, we´d like to apologise. Getting there late in the day after a full day of ferrys from Morocco and buses from Algeciras, we didn´t really have enough time for you. But we like you, a lot. We ditched our bags and made our way through a beautifully manicured park to the lift that takes you half way up the rock that overlooks Malaga to the Alcazabra palace complex. It has some very cool leafy courtyards with cool views over the city.
Strangely enough we had to head down to the bottom again, to catch a bus up to the very top of the hill for the Castle de Gibralfaro, a walled complex that has even better views of the city.
Back into town for a wander and some vinos in its awesome little back streets.
With the unthinkable plan of spending the next two days inland, and the small fact we hadn´t swum in the Med since Ibiza (two excellent excuses), we got a late train to Cordoba so we could spend the morning at one of Malaga´s beaches.
